Why Melamine for Interior Doors
A melamine-faced solid door is a good fit for interior use for a few practical reasons:
- Consistent, factory-applied finish — no painting or varnishing, and no touch-ups needed a year in
- Handles daily use well — bedroom and office doors get opened and closed dozens of times a day; the surface resists scuffs from handles, shoes, and general knocks
- Easy to clean — a damp cloth is enough to keep it looking new, which matters for bedroom and office doors that don't get much attention otherwise

5 Panel Jungle Melamine
A classic arched-panel design in a warm reddish-brown wood-tone finish. The raised panel detailing gives it a traditional look that suits bedrooms, studies, and interior doorways where you want something a bit more decorative than a plain flush door.
9 Panel Jungle Melamine
Our most detailed option, with a carved circular medallion and floral motif down the lower panel. It's a strong choice for main bedrooms, living room partitions, or anywhere in the house you want a door that reads as a feature rather than a plain fitting.
Grey Melamine
A modern, minimal finish with a brushed vertical grain and a subtle diagonal groove line. This is the one we recommend most for offices, study rooms, and contemporary interiors — it reads clean and neutral, and pairs easily with most interior colour schemes.
Brown Melamine
Simple vertical groove detailing on a warm brown wood-grain base. Versatile enough for bedrooms, offices, and wardrobe or store-room doors — decorative without competing with the rest of the room.
Care Tips
- Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners that can dull the melamine surface
- Keep hinges lubricated so the door doesn't start to sag or drag on the frame over time
- Because these are interior-rated doors, avoid installing them anywhere they'll take direct rain or prolonged sun exposure — ask us about our exterior/steel options for entrances
